Computer Vision - Outline
"Computer vision (also referred to as "machine vision") refers to the automated extraction of information regarding the objects or scene in one or more images. This differs from image processing, which is aimed at modifying an image for later human viewing or interpretation. This page covers only products based on computer vision, and makes no attempt to cover image processing or any of the many suppliers of sensors, frame grabbers, or other equipment to the industry."
